Hempvana Pain Cream: Relief for Aching Muscles? Our Review

If you deal with any sort of chronic muscle pain, strain, or fatigue, you NEED this cream. It has changed my pain management strategy forever. Let me tell you why.

I’ve been dealing with arthritis for over a decade now. I’m lucky enough that my pain is not nearly as bad as what I know other people go through, and I can manage it on my own pretty effectively. I don’t want to paint my situation worse than what it is. Nevertheless, joint pain has pretty much defined my daily life for a long time. The severity really varies from day to day. Some days I feel nearly normal, while other days I can hardly tie my own shoelaces without help.

As you can imagine, being an adult and being unable to do simple tasks has had a major impact on my quality of life and my sense of self. I’ve tried a lot to try to manage the pain — typical over-the-counter painkillers, prescription infusions and pain management strategies, lifestyle changes like adjusting my diet, giving up alcohol, etc. It’s all been pretty hit or miss. The one thing that consistently eases the pain, by far, is Hempvana Pain Cream.

What Is Hempvana Pain Cream?

When I first heard about Hempvana in my arthritis Facebook support group, I thought it was probably a scam or too good to be true. But like I said, I’ve tried just about everything to manage my pain, so I figured I’d at least give it a try. It’s not like it’s half as expensive as some other strategies I’ve tried.

Imagine my shock when I started using this stuff and found out it ACTUALLY works. I nearly started crying from joy.

This is basically a cream that you apply to areas of pain, just like body lotion or moisturizer. I apply it most often to my knees, shoulders, and hands.

It’s made with “cold-pressed hemp seed oil,” which — little disclaimer here, I’m not a scientist — is like olive oil in that it has a lot of polyphenols and healthy fats and vitamins. The cold-pressed part is just a way of extracting the oil without damaging its natural health benefits.

What’s in It?

So, the hemp seed oil applies hydration and vitamins to your skin, but the real powerhouse ingredient in this cream is the trolamine salicylate. I did some research and found out this is an FDA-listed aspirin product, and it’s basically the strongest topical pain relief you can get over the counter. The hemp seed oil is nice, but as far as I’m concerned, this is what’s doing the heavy lifting to ease my pain and make my life better. And so far, it WORKS.

Granted, it’s only been about a month. It’s possible that over time the effects will wear off or weaken. But I sure hope not. I apply it two to four times per day, depending on the severity of my pain. Like I said, I apply it to my knees, shoulders, and hands. Sometimes my ankles, too.

It just takes a minute of massaging it into the skin for it to soak in and start working. And honestly, I don’t mind this process — it’s kind of therapeutic. I’ve turned it into a little self-care ritual — I’m addressing the physical discomfort of the pain, and I’m also taking care of myself by practicing mindfulness and relaxation.

Will Hempvana Pain Cream Take Away All My Pain?

I will say that on my worst days, even Hempvana isn’t enough for the pain. I think that’s probably pretty normal and expected. If you have chronic pain like I do, you’ve probably come to terms with the fact that nothing is ever going to make it completely go away. When I wake up and I can’t bend any of my joints and it’s like a level eight pain, not even this product is going to help. That’s the bad news.

The good news is that, so far, it has made my good days even better. Days with a medium or lower level of pain, which have always been tolerable but still painful, now become close to pain-free. Or at least, they’re pain-free for longer. I can go for walks, go out with friends, and move around my house for longer periods of time without developing pain.

Maybe it’s a placebo effect from the ritual of massaging this into my skin. Maybe it’s the high-strength trolamine salicylate. Whatever the answer is, I honestly don’t care — it works, and that’s all that matters to me. It’s made my life so much better.

Is Hempvana FDA Approved?

Normally, I’m a bit skeptical of products like this — I’ve been burned by snake oil one too many times. But I think one of the things that convinced me it was the real deal (besides a recommendation from someone I knew in real life) was the FDA-approved ingredient. The FDA regulates the food, health, and drug industries and tests drugs and ingredients to approve them before they can be marketed for their intended purpose.

Knowing that the main ingredient in Hempvana, trolamine salicylate, is listed by the FDA for pain-relief made me feel secure about purchasing and using this product.

Another thing I don’t normally do is get online and write long-winded product reviews. But if even one person tries this out and finds it to be as effective as I did because of my review, it’s worth it to me. It also helped that they have a pretty great return policy — full refund or exchange within 30 days if you aren’t satisfied with the product.

Knowing that I could get my money back if it didn’t work for me helped push me over the edge and buy this. It also gave me a lot more confidence in the product. Who would offer such a good money-back guarantee if the product was unlikely to work?

Who Can Use Hempvana?

I use Hempvana for my arthritic joints. I think it would also work super well for athletes or bodybuilders prone to muscle soreness or really anyone working out for the first time. If it soaks in and works so well on the joints, I have to imagine it will be even more effective for muscles.

I would even recommend it if you suffered a minor injury, like a sprained ankle or jammed finger, and need something to get you through a few weeks of soreness and stiffness. This product is perfect for that kind of irritating but low-grade pain that you usually just have to wait out.

The one drawback to Hempvana is the smell. It doesn’t smell bad, per se, but I also don’t know if I would describe it as smelling good, either. It just smells sort of earthy, like exactly how you’d imagine medicinal seed oil to smell in the first place. If I could change something about this product, that’s what I would adjust. However, I don’t know if it would be possible to do this without impacting the efficacy, and that’s the really important thing. Unlike many other pain relief strategies I’ve tried, Hempvana WORKS.

I could not recommend it more. Just be warned — once you get used to using this, you won’t ever want to go back!
