Our History
As Seen On TV has been around nearly as long as television itself. It all started back in the 1980s when a man named Ron Popeil had a brilliant idea: if you showcase a product on TV and demonstrate how it works, customers will get a much better sense of what the product is and how it can benefit them. He called it “Ronco Presents: As Seen On TV,” and boy, did it work!
The 90s were the heyday of As Seen On TV, with products like the Bowlflex and Thighmaster quickly becoming household names. But as American shopping culture has evolved, so have we – you can now find the product we review in Walmart and Target, and, of course, online!
